Bad App, Bad Words, Great Design

If you arent interested in reading the details: the app has a good design is can be helpful but gives outdated words, doesnt work without data.

Bad App: when given a word every day it only comes with a definition of it and not a sentence of it, synonyms and things like that. It also only works when your using data or wifi which makes it much less convenient. I couldnt use it while traveling.

Bad Words: the words that the app gave were terrible. At least half the words I got were extremely outdated and even my 60 year old dad with a large vocabulary said he has never used it.
In addition the app often would give me three or more word phrases which isnt what I was looking for. The name of the app is slightly misleading because it not only gives words but also phrases.

Great Design: the app looked very appealing in a visual sense and was neat and simple. It also gave me a timer so that it would remind me to check the word of the day which was helpful. It would also let me save the words given to me each day to a storage board where I could see all of them.
