Terrible words, dont waste your time with this one

This app is incredibly disappointing. The only positive aspect to it is the inclusion of a list page that allows you to go back and view previous words. Unfortunately, thats where anything good about the app ends.

The most important part - the words - are absolutely abysmal. They arent properly defined like in dictionary, but instead come across as though someone was trying to explain a new word to a friend.

With each word, all you get is the part of speech (most are nouns) and a bad definition or two. An overwhelming number of the words are useless & unlikely to be used in everyday conversation, written or verbal. Words are frequently labeled "archaic" or "obsolete" - why would I want to learn words that are of no use to me?

Most disappointing is the repulsive attempt they make at humor/being culturally relevant. Words often reference a movie or recent event. In the past month Back to the Future, the new James Bond movie, and the Alien movie series have been mentioned. I see enough of them everywhere else - including them in this app just comes across a bit pathetic.

Save your time and dont download this app. Im deleting it today and finding another, its been given a few months of chances and never ceases to disappoint.
